I am a qualified Graphic Designer and I worked in that industry for many years but when I retired in 2016 the emergence of coloured pencils as a serious art medium was well under way.

Even though I have been drawing all my life, I really wanted to give coloured pencils a go. I have always had a fascination with the medium so it was about this time that I bought some artist grade pencils and began to try them out. In 2021 during lock down, I decided to get really serious and began to do some tutorials and experimentation with my pencils. It was then that I became hooked and have spent the last few years working on my skills.

With a lot of urging from family and friends, I have decided to share my work with others by offering my work in a pet portrait business.
